Textron Aviation announced the launch of a new aircraft maintenance program for the Cessna Caravan and Beechcraft King Air. Textron’s Peace of Mind program is aimed at helping aircraft owners make a simpler transition into Turboprops.
Details on Textron’s Peace of Mind Program
Peace of Mind will provide up to two years or 400 hours of Textron’s ProParts and ProTech programs and Pratt and Whitney’s ESPecially engine maintenance program. These services will be provided free of charge as part of any new King Air and Caravan turboprop purchases between July 25th, 2016, and September 30th, 2016, with delivery by the end of the year.
According to Kriya Shortt, the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Textron Aviation, “We are always looking at how we can make stepping into turbine ownership easier, and the Peace of Mind incentive eliminates any uncertainty around maintenance costs by providing comprehensive maintenance protection through industry leading programs. And, customers who choose to combine Peace of Mind with our ProOwnership program can also receive assistance with other ownership intricacies, including mentoring services, pilot services, insurance, taxes and more. No other manufacturer can offer such a comprehensive solutions package for customers looking to make the transition to a new aircraft.“
Textron Aviation’s ProParts and ProTech programs are part of the larger, overall ProAdvantage family of programs. These programs, according to company officials, were designed to provide customers with lower, predictable ownership costs while also enhancing the value of the aircraft by providing it with comprehensive maintenance. Company officials also noted that after the two years or 400 hours of engine coverage is up as part of the ESPecially program that aircraft owners would be able to continue enrollment in the program at a reduced rate until the time of the first engine overhaul.
