Got plans for October? Well, you do now. The 2016 Flying Aviation Expo will be taking place at the Palm Springs International Airport on October 20 – 22nd. The expo, presented by Scheyden Precision Eyewear, is expected to draw over 5,000 pilots and industry experts from around the world.
The expo will feature over 200 brands, showing off a variety of the most recent and interesting aviation products. Expo-goers will also be able to view demonstrations, attend one of the many education sessions (which qualify for credit in the FAA’s Wings program), listen to a number of highly qualified experts guest speakers, and take part in evening socials.
The Editor in Chief of Flying Magazine, Stephen Pope, had this to say about the expo, “This year’s Flying Aviation Expo is going to be bigger and better than ever, with so much to do and see for active and engaged general aviation pilots. We have a terrific lineup of educational seminars and speakers, a great new venue at the Palm Springs International Airport and more airplanes and exhibitors than ever. I’ve been so pleased to watch the show grow and expand, and I’m looking forward to being in sunny Palm Springs again surrounded by so many like-minded aviation enthusiasts.”
Scheyden President Jeff Herold expressed a similar enthusiasm, “With the new home at Palm Springs International Airport I cannot imagine anything but success. Great weather, a great demographic of attendees, great hotels and restaurants should make this the most prestigious event in General Aviation.”
